Power Shortages Create Strong Demand for Energy Storage
Pakistan is facing a severe power crisis: electricity demand keeps rising, while LNG supply disruptions have left many power plants unable to operate at full capacity. The government has imposed power outages and significant electricity tariff hikes. In this context, energy storage has become a key driver of the country’s energy transition.
In addition, Pakistan has launched a national lithium battery manufacturing policy and replaced the original net-metering scheme with a net-billing system, further boosting residential energy storage adoption. Covering 18,000 square meters, the exhibition attracted 350+ exhibitors and 35,000+ professional visitors, reflecting the strong market momentum.
